The cover of the book is designed well. The title of the book is totally apt to the content. The plot of the story is very emotional, spellbinding, strong and captivating.
The author has very well penned down the emotions of a rape victim inspite being a male. He has narrated the book from a girl's perspective. Hats off to him for writing such a serious social issue and portraying the consequences of rape so well. The book highlights the cruel reality of the society.
Language used is simple. Characters are well developed and described by the author. I liked the character of Sethani and Meethi.
The flow of the book is fast paced which makes it an engaging read. The last line of the book is very touching. "Yes I was raped, but instead of dying, I live it."
Overall, a touching read.
