This is the first novel in the series 'A Splintering World'. First novel 'A Stillness in the Air' is divided into three books - The Darkness within, All the Standards in the wind and The Seige of Dal-Gorun. The story is set up in the large town of Taernsby. The story started when a magistrate servant put a note on the public notice board which states that magistrate needs some personal aid. Peren Siannodel, Voss, Brael, Thervos and Evandur Angelthorn reached Magistrate's Manor. Magistrate gave them a mission.

Grab the book and know more about the story.

The cover of the book could have been better. Title of the book is totally aptly. The plot of the story is different and interesting. The book is started with the introduction of characters which are too much. The length of the book could have been smaller. Language used is easy to understand. Narration is smooth.
Overall, a nice story.

Rating - 4/5
