Their friendship becomes more complicated when Kashvi starts putting together the clues surrounding Mo's mysterious behavior. 

The book also has an appealing message about looking beyond appearances. Mo initially envies Rizzo's muscles and athletic build, while Rizzo envies the courage and heroism he sees in Mo. Both boys are searching for validation in different ways, and their eventual connection shows that strength isn't simply about physical power.
