Author Interview : Raviraj Mishra

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to introduce you to the author of 'The feeling of being loved'

Let's start!

1 - First of all introduce yourself.
I am from Pune, India. I am a Software Engineer and a writer. I love reading and writing fiction. I enjoy creating characters and bringing them to life with my stories. I am blogging from last 5 years where I have been posting articles I write on different topics usually the things I feel.
2 - Did you always want to become a writer?
I started writing stories from when I was 12 years of age. So I guess I was always inclined towards writing and stories.
3 - How would you introduce your book 'The feeling of being loved'?
‘The Feeling of being loved’ is a story of the importance of love in a person’s life but it is not a love story as the name might suggest . It’s more of an expression pointing out how love is not optional. Shruti is the lead character in the story and the story revolves around the decisions she takes by her distracted mind.
4 - What inspired you to write this book?
This book is not inspired by one person, instead I found the bits and chunks of this story from many people around me. The only thing common in all the chunks was love. So yes, Love inspired me to write this book.
5 - Describe 'The feeling of being loved' in one line.
‘Sometimes we just wish for a love story’
6 - Are you planning other books? How soon can your readers expect your next book?
Yes, I am working on a story nowadays. Its quite different from this book ‘The Feeling of Being Loved’. As I have started working on the book, so I will take some time to give it a better shape but the readers can expect the next book in this year itself.
7 - How has been your journey as an author been so far?
The journey has been fantastic so far. I have connected to some beautiful people who are guiding me to improve and through them I am learning how to express myself in different ways. I am being continuously filled with motivations from the people I am meeting in this journey and I know this is just a small start of my big dream.
8 - Who is your favourite Indian and foreign author?
My favourite Indian author is Chetan Bhagat. He is one of the first authors I came across in my teenage. My favourite foreign author is Nicholas Sparks. His novel The Notebook is the best book I have ever read.
9 - What do you like to do when you are not writing?
I am a professional Software Engineer with a full time job of 8 hours. I write at night and in weekends. Other than working and writing I read a lot. I spend my time with my family and I listen to music and talk to my girl friend. I sometimes cook when I am in mood.
10 - Any message for your readers?
There is a line I wrote and posted on Instagram - ‘PERFECTION IS AN ART OF IMPERFECT’. I believe in this line and I am sure if everyone considers this, they will no longer doubt their qualities.

Thanks for reading.
