'After the Outbreak' by Karri Kadin is the first book in the book series N87 virus. Allison was infected by a virus N87 and she became a Zombie like monster. Most of the infected people died but Allison survived. Read the book to know what happened with Allison after this attack.

The cover of the book is scary yet eye catchy. Title is totally apt. The plot of the story is captivating, terrifying and seems to be somewhat to the current situation of pandemic due to virus. It is a perfect blend of science, fiction, actions and thrill with lots of twist and turns. Language used is simple and easy. Narration is quite smooth. Characterization is superb. The flow of the book is well paced.
Overall, an enjoyable read.
