The story of this book sets up in two timelines. One is about a mighty emperor of North India in the 15th century who falls in love with a common girl and marries her but after sometimes he realises that she is nothing extraordinary.
Will their love succed?
Will they be part away from each other?
Now in the present the story revolves around Hridya and Aarav. Both of them are from the modern world.
Will history repeat or will history change its course?
Read the book to know the answers.
The cover of the book is eye catchy and aptly designed. The title of the book is mesmerizing and relevant. The plot of the story is interesting, engaging and beautifully composed. It is a perfect blend of past and present memories. The author has amazingly narrated all the emotions that it seems to be watching a movie. Each and every minute detail is well described by the author. I liked the dance sequence and debate scenes.
Language used is simple and lucid. Characters are well developed and described by the author. The book is full of life values, romance, self realization with a tinge of humor. The flow of the book is little bit slow in the beginning but later it picks up the pace.
Overall, a heartwarming read.
